Sherwood Playgroup CIO is recruiting an experienced level 3 practitioner
for 26 hours per week .Closing date 5 th July 2018


We are looking for an experienced  level 3 childcare and education practitioner to support with management duties within the setting and planning  and assessing a range of interactive and sensory activities with 2-4 year olds in line with the EYFS. 

We are keen to find an enthusiastic person to join our  team. 
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the Early Years curriculum and have a genuine passion for working with children with a range of needs. 
The practitioner will take a lead on planning,observations,assessments and record keeping within the setting in
addition to being key person for a group of children.The setting is a pack away setting and some physical work is required.  
 
The candidate must uphold the highest standards of care and well-being, as well as being fully aware of safeguarding policies. They need to hold strong communication skills when liaising with children, parents, carers, visitors and other staff members.


Requirements of the role:

      
An up to date DBS check (This will be applied for if you are not presently subscribed to the DBS update service) 
      
Two references. 
       
Recent experience working in an early years setting  and having responsibility for a key group of children. 
       
A secure understanding of the observation and assessment cycle within the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum
     
A passion for Early Years Education
     
*Level 3 CACHE or NVQ qualification in childcare * QTS specialising in
Early Years

Sherwood playgroup CIO is looking for an experienced  level 3 childcare and education practitioner to support children's learning and development in the setting and have a key group of children within the 2-4 year old age group.
We are keen to find an enthusiastic and experienced person to join our friendly team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum and have a genuine passion for working with children with a range of needs.

The setting is a pack away setting and some physical work is required. There will be opportunities for the appointed candidate to
undertake some support work with children with a range of needs and abilities.
